Requirements

Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
A college degree is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding when appropriate to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service within the location, coordinating communication between on-site personnel and relevant authorities as needed.
Monitor access control systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment to help to deter unauthorized activities in the financial institution environment.
Document and report all incidents, dispatch activities, and any unusual occurrences according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, clients, and emergency responders to support a secure environment.
Remain knowledgeable of site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to a financial institution, adapting response to various scenarios as required.
