As a Security Officer / Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and employees, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and communicate observations according to site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and report security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining awareness of site-specific emergency procedures, including supporting evacuations and coordinating with designated personnel and/or first responders when needed.
