As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and armed post requirements.
