About The Position

As a Security Officer - Factory Access Control Driver in Vernon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving responsibilities are part of the role.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
Verify the identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including following evacuation procedures and coordinating with emergency personnel.
