About The Position

As a Security Officer Facility Access Control in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this driving post, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access-related information, and help respond to incidents with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, supporting access communications, and coordinating security-related responses as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and dispatch systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incoming information, and route officers and/or emergency resources based on site needs.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and activity logs with clear and timely updates to help support investigations, reporting requirements, and shift continuity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining communication with on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol support through dispatch oversight, camera review, and perimeter activity monitoring, while helping to identify unusual activity at the location.
