As a Security Officer Exterior Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, and/or city issued security license, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating security-related concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and maintaining a visible presence that helps to promote an orderly environment.
