As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to visitors, employees, and commuters. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit riders, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with transit personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and public areas for unusual conditions, unauthorized entry, unattended property, and other security-related concerns, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with the public and site stakeholders.
