You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist with badge-related activities. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verifying authorization and documenting entries, exits, and unusual occurrences.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while following applicable site procedures and confidentiality expectations.
