As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government buildings, public access areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, directional support, and policy compliance in a professional manner.
  • Support day-to-day public sector operations by observing activity, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and incident response protocols.
