Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Supervisory experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government buildings, public access areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, directional support, and policy compliance in a professional manner.
Support day-to-day public sector operations by observing activity, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and incident response protocols.
