As a Security Officer - Evenings in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
  • Control entry and exit of commercial vehicles, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel, and direct authorized drivers to designated areas.
  • Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant information according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
