As a Security Officer - Evenings in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Control entry and exit of commercial vehicles, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel, and direct authorized drivers to designated areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
