As a Security Officer Entry Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Screen individuals and personal property for prohibited items using assigned screening equipment and established post procedures, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, screening alarms, and/or unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, entry points, and nearby perimeter locations as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Document screening-related activities, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and responding personnel.
