Requirements

Must have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Screen individuals and personal property for prohibited items using assigned screening equipment and established post procedures, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, screening alarms, and/or unusual activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, entry points, and nearby perimeter locations as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Document screening-related activities, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and responding personnel.
