About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while using technology to document activities and communicate clearly. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
