About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in North Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a residential location, verify visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing activity at gates, lobbies, and/or common access areas, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, access issues, and/or property conditions that may require follow-up.
