As a Security Officer Entry Screening Driver in Mc Intosh, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. In this driving post, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and carrying out site-specific security-related policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor visitor, employee, and contractor access at gates, lobbies, and/or restricted areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to support authorized entry and documenting unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed and preparing clear reports on security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to identify potential concerns, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
