As a Security Officer Entry Screening Coordinator in Claymont, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government location, you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors, and support access procedures while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Screen visitors, staff, and/or permitted items at designated entry points by following posted access procedures and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
  • Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and/or public access points to help support orderly movement throughout the location and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by location.
