About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Management in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a guard card or license preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns through established channels.
