About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Credential Review in CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and assist with directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns by observing activity at entrances, gates, and restricted areas, and reporting unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
