Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with visitor and employee communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a culture built on teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated facility areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and access control activities through required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
