Job Description As a Security Officer - Entry Control in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a fast-paced automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support badge and visitor processes to help reduce unauthorized access. You will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible, and report security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Staff access control points at an automotive manufacturing and/or corporate location by greeting entrants, checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor logs, and issuing temporary badges per site policy.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, review deliveries and contractor access, and report irregularities to site leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
