Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or unusual activity by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related concerns promptly.
