As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide courteous communication to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Support a professional, orderly environment by enforcing site access requirements, reporting unusual activity, and completing required reports and logs.
