Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of access control protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues.
  • Assist with badge checks, visitor logs, package screening, and/or lobby monitoring while maintaining professional communication and supporting daily operations at the location.
