As a Security Officer Entrance Access Monitor in Conyers, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help create a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, maintaining accurate visitor records, and responding to access-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail and distribution areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
