As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driving Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local responders, and/or onsite personnel during routine activities and unusual events, while maintaining professionalism in changing work environments and conditions.
