As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Temple, PA, at a busy shopping center, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for theft-related activity, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations, and document observations in accordance with Allied Universal and location guidelines.
• Assist shoppers, visitors, and store personnel with directions, information, and/or security-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
