Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting employees and visitors, and supporting security-related protocols for a utilities location.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging processes, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
  • Answer phones, direct inquiries, and communicate with site personnel regarding routine matters, unusual activity, and/or service needs in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, and notify appropriate contacts according to site procedures.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and front desk records related to incidents, visitor activity, access events, and other security-related responsibilities.
