Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting observations, incidents, and policy-related violations in accordance with established procedures.
