As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Concierge in Atlantic City, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 12:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, managing front desk activities, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, documenting guest entry, and communicating with residents and/or property management regarding authorized access.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related matters according to site procedures.
  • Observe lobby and entry activity from the front desk, help to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence, and support daily operations with clear communication and accurate recordkeeping.
