About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Security Officer EMT to respond to calls for emergency medical assistance for guests and team members. This role involves providing necessary and appropriate care within the scope of training, laws, regulations, and company and department policies and procedures. The EMT will also be responsible for completing requisite paperwork related to EMT activities and promoting the health and well-being of others.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to: lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, and episodes of moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
• Must be a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
• Must have CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in EMT services (or similar field) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for emergency medical assistance for guests and team members.
• Respond to calls for emergency medical assistance and provide necessary and appropriate care within the scope of training, laws, regulations, and company and department policies and procedures.
• Keep alert and concerned about other people’s health and well-being and attend to the promotion of health and well being.
• Complete requisite paperwork related to EMT activities.
