About The Position

Requirements

Possess EMT certification.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
