About The Position

As a Security Officer EMT Driver Patrol in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• An EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while verifying access permissions and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations by assisting with visitor direction, observing for policy violations, and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines during daily routines and/or after-hours rounds.
