About The Position

Responsible for fostering a fun environment, being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers, and promoting a positive influence in the community. Serves as the on-duty EMT qualified Security Officer to provide emergency medical care such as first aid, AED, and CPR as necessary. Acts as a liaison between EMS, fire, and law enforcement agencies responding to requests for assistance. Provides comfort and reassurance to ill or injured guests, treats and administers first aid. Provides security on assigned casino or landing area, maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, and watches for safety hazards. Patrols parking lots, provides security escorts for all monetary transfers, fills, and credit. Oversees customer boarding and disembarking, provides crowd control, directs traffic, checks I.D., and checks for cameras, bottles, and other items not allowed on the Casino floor. Provides assistance to customers by giving directions, calling cabs, and assisting with car trouble. Provides special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary. Assists with slot drops, observes the hard count crew doing the slot drop, and transports tokens to the hard count room. Provides assistance for table drop by providing drop boxes, observing the count, and securing drop boxes in the soft count room. Monitors all entry and exit from hard count, soft count, and vault, and maintains logs of these activities. Serves as dispatcher, dispatches other officers to various assignments, and maintains activity log sheets. Watches and records monitors. Writes detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure. Testifies in court on behalf of state gaming boards. Occasionally, strenuous physical activity is required. Meets department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements. Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, department, and company policies. Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter. Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner. Any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid, unexpired EMT certification
  • Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Must enjoy hosting others
  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces
