As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Security Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, patient-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and the reporting of unauthorized access or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
