About The Position

As a Security Officer Emergency Preparedness in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Professional supporting a dynamic automotive location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access control and visitor badge processes, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Use your communication and customer service skills to assist employees and visitors while documenting activity through computer or tablet-based systems. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
