About The Position

As a Security Officer Emergency Communications in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and help connect personnel with timely support. You will provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain an orderly environment through clear communication and sound judgment. Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to transit agency staff, passengers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, access control activity, and other security-related systems; document and relay relevant information to field personnel, supervisors, and emergency responders.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and shift activity documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations, including contacting law enforcement, fire, medical, transit operations, and/or other appropriate resources.
