As a Security Officer - Driving - Full Time in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, team-oriented culture while acting with integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control the issuance and return of badges, keys, and other access devices.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, perimeter areas, parking areas, and designated facility locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
  • Document daily activities, access-control issues, and incident details accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
