About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Incident Response in Grandville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, tenant spaces, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, directions, and customer-service requests while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
