As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle-based and on-foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit areas, platforms, bus staging locations, facilities, and perimeter areas, with attention to varying conditions across the location.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, help to deter unauthorized activity, and communicate respectfully with the public regarding rules, directions, and/or concerns.
  • Support daily operations by documenting observations, assisting with crowd and queue management, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public personnel during unusual events.
