As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Greenup, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the chance to support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to Allied Universal and/or site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control procedures for restricted areas and sensitive locations.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, hazards, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters.
