As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor traffic, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Support closing and opening routines, assist with security-related incident reporting, and provide a visible presence that helps to deter disruptions to daily banking operations.
