Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor reception activities, and access-related support for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, verify visitor and employee credentials as directed, and help to address unusual or unauthorized activity in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, and contact appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation related to security-related procedures and site protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and location personnel with communication, reporting, and customer assistance while remaining stationed at the front desk.
