As a Security Officer Driver in Eden Prairie, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and retail staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with local contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor activity across the location and document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with post orders and reporting procedures.
• Assist with crowd flow, store opening and closing activities, and policy enforcement while maintaining a professional presence and providing clear directions to guests and/or staff.
