About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Services in Gahanna, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening and directing visitors, answering questions, and supporting access-related activities for a utility location.
  • Monitor entrances, reception areas, and visitor logs to help support security-related procedures, document activity, and report unusual situations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Assist with badge access, sign-in processes, deliveries, and phone communications while maintaining professional interactions with employees, contractors, and guests.
  • Complete required reports and front desk documentation, relay important information during shift changes, and help support emergency response activities according to site policies.
