Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and community activity, report suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or local responders when needed.
Support community rules and post orders by checking assigned areas, assisting with resident questions, and completing routine reports and logs during each shift.
