Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity every day.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, monitoring for security-related concerns, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Observe customer and visitor activity and report unusual behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, monitor high-traffic areas, and help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and/or disruptions through visible presence and routine patrol activity.
