Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and vehicles, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post. You will remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering reliable service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with site procedures and reporting protocols.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or access authorization, and document screening activity, visitor information, and/or unusual incidents as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, remaining aware of operational activity such as shipping, receiving, trailer movement, and dock traffic.
