About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Driver Screening Examiner in Ontario, California. The role serves and safeguards clients in industries including logistics and distribution. At a logistics and distribution location, the screener protects people, property, and operations by screening personnel, visitors, and materials according to site procedures. The position requires a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. The work includes maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally, reporting security-related concerns, and helping deter incidents. The schedule includes Monday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and Sunday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM. The pay rate is $21.89 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles, or 21 years or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Screen personnel, visitors, deliveries, and other authorized entrants according to facility access procedures.
Monitor access points and inspect identification, credentials, packages, and property as directed by site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, and perimeter.
