About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Response Patrol in Mayfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and first responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, while providing directions and assistance to visitors and staff.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns in written reports, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
