As a Security Officer Driver Property Protection in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor interactions. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to utility location personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain required logs and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
