About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Perimeter Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor access in accordance with site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, assist with directing foot traffic, and complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.
